Letter from our new principal
Dear Paulina Elementary School Families,
It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new principal of Paulina Elementary School. I am honored to join a school and community with such a rich history, strong traditions, and deep commitment to student success.
For the past 23 years, I have dedicated my career to education, serving in a variety of roles including teacher, instructional coach, curriculum facilitator, assistant principal, principal, and director. Each of these experiences has strengthened my belief that every child can succeed when provided with high-quality learning opportunities, strong relationships, and a supportive school environment.
My passion has always been helping students build a strong foundation and develop a lifelong love of learning. I believe that education is about much more than academics, it is about preparing students with the skills, confidence, and character needed to become successful in life.
My connection to this community is personal. I have been a resident of Paulina for the past 24 years and have a deep appreciation for the traditions, values, and sense of pride that make St. James Parish so special. I am the proud mother of three wonderful sons who all attended St. James Parish Public Schools. They have each walked the halls and sat in classrooms at Paulina Elementary School. So I truly understand the importance of providing every child with the best possible educational experience.
As your principal, I am committed to leading with honesty, integrity, and transparency. I believe in collaboration and value the partnerships between families, staff, students, and the community. I am a hard worker who puts students at the center of every decision, and I am dedicated to ensuring that all students have opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.
I am confident that my experience, knowledge, and commitment to students will help guide Paulina Elementary to new heights. More importantly, I am excited to learn alongside our staff and students as we continue building on the strong foundation that already exists at PES.
Thank you for welcoming me into this role. I look forward to meeting each of you and working together to make this an outstanding year for our students. Together, we will continue to create a school where every child feels valued, challenged, and inspired to achieve their very best.
With appreciation and excitement,
Nicole Weber
